55+ Outpatient Health: A Program for Senior Adults
What is 55+ Outpatient Health?
An outpatient program that provides individualized treatment for older adults who are challenged by depression, anxiety, and the loss of quality of life. This program provides intensive outpatient treatment Monday through Friday. Group sessions start at 10 a.m. and wrap up about 1:15 p.m.. A typical patient will attend sessions three days per week initially, but this can be adjusted to individual circumstances. The outpatient program assists seniors who are facing:
- Major life changes linked to aging
- On-going grief and losses
- Anxiety, nervousness, worry
- Medication issues
- Strained relationships
- Depression, low mood
- Decline in daily activity
- Chronic pessimism
- Inability to relax
- Changes in sleeping/eating
The program is medically supervised and tailored to meet the individualized needs of older adult patients requiring behavioral health support. Therapy sessions are in a group format. These groups are facilitated by a Nebraska licensed clinician, under supervision of a board certified Psychiatrist.
Additionally the patient's care is coordinated with families, caregivers, and physicians to provide the best treatment solutions for each individual

Assessments & Referrals
The clinical staff at 55+ Outpatient Health is pleased to offer free confidential screening for the purpose of determining the need for behavioral services. Interested seniors may arrange for this without a doctor's referral. Referrals may also be made by physicians, nurses, social workers, or others concerned about the welfare of an individual.
This is a Medicare based program. Medicare benefits and a Medicare Supplement (including Medicaid) covers the cost of our services.
