Helpful Human Award
What is the Helpful Human Award?
The HCMC Helpful Human Award is a recognition program that honors and celebrates staff (excluding RN/LPNs due to The DAISY Award) through nominations submitted by patients and families. The Helpful Human Award recognizes staff who:
- Model extraordinary behavior
- Demonstrate trust, compassion, respect, and ethical behavior
- Motivate staff to reach better outcomes for themselves and for patients
- Supports HCMC, the communities HCMC serves and the healthcare profession
Howard County Medical Center understands the importance of recognizing staff who go above and beyond as a way to foster a positive workplace culture and encourage continued excellence in patient care and service.
